Fadli Zon Chair, Global Organization of Parliamentarians against Corruption (GOPAC)
Fadli Zon is also Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives. Prior to entering politics, Fadli Zon was an influential student activist in the 1990s at the University of Indonesia where he was elected as Member of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly from 1997-1999.
Fadli Zon also serves as Vice Chair of the Greater Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party Central Board, and Chair of the Indonesian Farmers Association. Fadli has authored several publications on various topics such as on ethno-nationalist movement in post-soviet union era, the role of IMF in the Soeharto regime, a couple of literary publications and has edited several books as well. Fadli Zon also supports the community by establishing and supporting a library in Jakarta, and cultural centers in various provinces of Indonesia.
Fadli holds a masters degree from the London School of Economics and doctorate from the University of Indonesia.
